The CW has officially ordered to series (episodes unknown) of the ARROW/THE FLASH spinoff called DC's LEGENDS OF TOMORROW starring Brandon Routh as The ATOM, Victor Garber as Dr. Stein, Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell as Heat Wave, Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold, Ciara Renee as Hawkgirl, and Franz Drameh as Jay Jackson.Here's the official synopsis:
"When heroes alone are not enough ... the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?"The CW is expected to show a trailer May 14 during Upfronts, a TV industry event.
Update: Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) let loose that some LEGENDS OF TOMORROW characters appear in the season finale of THE FLASH May 19th!
