Marvel's upcoming space-themed superhero motion picture GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY has the internet guessing over who the famed studio will cast in the lead role of "Star Lord." Entertainment site Moviehole.net recently tweeted, "Hearing - from someone that recently worked with him - a former Superman may have tested for "Guardians of the Galaxy", too. Huge shortlist!" Does this mean Brandon is in the running? As with any rumor, take this with a grain of salt.

MISSING WILLIAM - a dramatic thriller with romantic undertones - starring Brandon Routh, Courtney Ford ("Dexter," "True Blood"), and Reid Scott ("Veep") has found a domestic distributor in Naedomi Media, LLC who has sold such films as "Cherry" and "Leave" starring Bryan Cranston.

Congratulations are in order for CROOKED ARROWS, the Native American lacrosse family film starring Brandon as a reluctant coach, which picked up a "Platinum Reel" award at this year's Lucerne International Film Festival in Switzerland. Keeping in theme, Brandon recently filmed a TV spot honoring the first Native American astronaut.
